Deleting your CCN account
Last updated: 8 September 2026
You can delete your Connected Christian Network ("CCN") account at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what is removed.
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete from the mobile app
- Open the CCN app and sign in.
- Tap More in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap your name at the top to open your profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm — enter your password, or, if you sign in with Google or Apple, type DELETE.
- Tap Delete.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
Delete from the website
- Sign in at https://connectedchristian.net.
- Open your Profile page.
- In the Delete Account section, enter your password and confirm.
If you signed in with Google or Apple
The mobile app handles this — type DELETE to confirm instead of a password (step 5 above).
On the website, first set a password using Forgot password on the sign-in screen (a link is emailed to your address), then follow the website steps. Or use the email request below.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app or the website, email privacy@connectedchristian.net from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify the request and delete the account within 30 days.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted we permanently remove:
- Your profile: name, email address, phone number, photo, bio and any other profile details.
- Your sign-in credentials, including any linked Google or Apple identifier.
- Content tied to your account: prayer requests, testimonies, comments and discussion posts, sermon notes, group memberships, event registrations, and your follows, likes and reactions.
- Your notification preferences and any registered devices.
What may be kept, and for how long
- Backups. Removed copies persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten.
- Records we are legally required to keep (for example, financial records for a donation you made) are retained only for the period the law requires and are then deleted.
- Anonymised or aggregated data that can no longer identify you (for example, a total count of app installs) may be kept.
